5.4.2 Downloading Recorded Videos
1 On the Main Menu, click PLAYBACK. The Playback screen appears.
2 Select a date from the calendar. Available videos are automacally listed on the File List table.

To refresh the les, click Refresh.
3 You can lter the search by channel and/or video type. Select the channel or type, and then click Search. Matching
les are listed on the File List table.
4 On the File List table, select a le.
5 Click Backup to download the video to your local hard disk. The downloaded video is saved in H.264 (*.264) format.
To convert the video to *.avi format, see “5.4.3 Converng Video Format” on page 64.
Note:
• While a video is playing, the Backup buon is unavailable and you cannot download the video. Stop the
playback to make the download funcon available.
• See “Advanced Sengs” on page 77 for details on seng the download path folder.
5.4.3 Converng Video Format
Video backup les are saved in H.264 (*.264) format. If you want to save the video les into a format playable in
common video players, you must convert the le to *.avi format.
1 On the Main Menu, click PLAYBACK. The Playback screen appears.
2 Click . The screen below appears.
3 On SrcFile, click and browse for the source le (*.264).
4 On DestFile, click . Browse for the desnaon folder and enter the desired lename.
5 Click .
6 Click X to close the screen.
