4.6.5 System Informaon
The INFORMATION menu allows you to congure the device name and device ID, as well as view the MAC address,
rmware version and other system informaon.
1 In preview mode, right-click on the mouse to display the Pop-up menu.
2 Select Main Menu > SYSTEM > INFORMATION.

Descripon
Device ID Enter desired ID for the DVR. The device ID, used to idenfy the DVR, can only be
composed of numbers and cannot be the same with other IDs when mulple DVRs are
connected in the same network.
Device Name Enter desired name for the DVR. The name can be composed of alphanumeric
characters. See “3.3.2 Virtual Keyboard” on page 21 for details on using the virtual
keyboard.
Device Type Displays the model type of the DVR.
MAC Address Displays the MAC address of the DVR. When mulple DVRs are connected to the same
network, each DVR must have a unique MAC address to ensure that the DVR can
connect to the network.
Firmware
Version
Displays the current rmware version of the DVR. To update the rmware version, see
page “Update System Firmware” on page 57.
IE Version Displays the current soware version of the web client interface.
3 Modify the Device Name and Device ID, if necessary.
4 Click Apply to save the sengs.
5 When data saving is complete, click OK.
4.6.6 Maintenance Sengs
The MAINTENANCE menu allows you to set automac system maintenance, reset the DVR to its factory default, and
update the rmware sengs, or reboot and power o the DVR manually.

To reboot or power o the DVR instantly, do the following:
1 In preview mode, right-click on the mouse to display the Pop-up menu.
2 Select Main Menu > SYSTEM > MAINTAIN.
